Catching Up with Lakers Fans From Around The World
Summer is coming and so are Lakers fans from across the globe! Our season is short but there is nothing short about the distances these fans have travelled to see their beloved Lakers. Last night we had a chance to talk to first-timer fans from England, Finland, Canada, Australia and France.
Fans tell us about their favorite Laker moments like Fisher’s .04, Kobe’s 81 and of course Game 7 between the Lakers and Celtics! A personal favorite of mine, as well. What’s your favorite moment nation?
We also caught up with a few Spurs fans (thumbs down) and asked them about their blowout show last night. (Thumbs down again!)
While it’s hard to pick a favorite Laker moment, these fans agree that each one is characterized by a single quality: Passion. Passion for the game. For the win. And for the people of LA.

These fans came out all way from Paris, France! They have been fans for 30 years, now finally have the chance to see them in action.

Rod from Vancouver at his first Lakers game ever but not the second time at staples, he was here yesterday to watch his beloved Canucks loose.

Juan and Daniel bring their soon to be 1 year old to his first Lakers game. Let’s hope we give him a win!

Pauline, Amelia, and Miko all the way from Finland came out here for their first Lakers game.

Representing London, Tom, Lizzy and Rease came to watch Pau Gasol dominate the paint.

Big thanks to the camera man for tonight, Nikhil Ahuja!

The brothers Sanchez and Joaquin are not only big Lakers fans but also regular followers of @LakersNation
