I Just Wanna Dance
“I Just Wanna Dance Group” brings a combination of different styles of dance that reflect our culture and ethnicity as Indians and as Americans. We share a love for the dances that allow us to integrate the various aspects of ourselves and allow us to express ourselves through our passions. Our dance performances not only let us to share our talents but also allow us to leave our true selves on the stage.
The styles of performances range from classical Indian to modern Bollywood to jazz and hip-hop. Our latest performance fuses together jazz with the classical dance of bhangra from Punjab. The variety of styles reflect the tradition of our backgrounds while integrating the modernness of our current lives.
Below is an Indian fusion dance combining a Traditional folk dance called Bhangra with Jazz.
